BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The Merritt Island Mustangs baseball team prepares to face South Walton in the FHSAA state semifinals in Fort Myers on Tuesday.

The first pitch is set for 7 p.m. at Hammond Stadium.

Merritt Island advanced to the final four after cruising past the Hernando Leopards 10-0 in the FHSAA Regional Finals last week.

South Walton is coming off a 6-1 win over Arnold and has a 20-10 record this season.

The team that comes out on top will advance to the State Championship and play the winner of the Cardinal Gibbons vs. Mulberry game.
